UWS Coalition Welcomes Expanded Board

The UWS Coalition held its Annual General Meeting on May 28 via Zoom, welcoming representatives from its member organizations. 

President Steve Anderson announced the results of the membership's election of the Board of Directors, which expanded from 12 to 14 members, including: 

• Malaika Amon, Board Member, 202-214 West 85th Street Block Association

• Steve Anderson, President, Theodore Roosevelt Park Neighborhood Association of West 81st Street (TRPNA)

• Noelle Barbera, Director of Development & Communications, Bloomingdale School of Music

• Aron Berlinger, Treasurer, West 83rd Street Block Association

• Neil Berson, Co-President, West 90s Neighborhood Association

• Dale Brown, President, West 79th Street Block Association Inc.

• Kristin Cook, Director of Marketing, Symphony Space

• Liz DeVito, Vice President, Manhattan 75 Block Association

• Peter Galasinao, President, Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Association

• Mark Jennings, Executive Director, Project FIND

Elected Leaders Discuss Priorities at Coalition Forum

The Coalition’s June forum featured special guests NYS Senator Erik Bottcher and Manhattan Borough President Brad Hoylman-Sigal. Bottcher and Hoylman-Sigal shared updates on their agendas and accomplishments since their elections last November and answered questions from the audience. The forum was well attended and has received more than 400 views on YouTube since it was live-streamed.
